7 Weeks Old Already!

Time is just flying by.... Our sweet little cutie is growing and changing right before our eyes. We can hardly believe in a blink of the eye she'll be two months old. She is such a sweet little thing. We are enjoying her so much. She's smiling more and more everyday and supposedly giggled for Terry this morning. I think he's making it up so that I won't make him get up with the kids on Saturday mornings anymore. Ha! Look at her chunky little cheeks...she's definitely a fan of nursing and does it quite well...which brings me to a funny story:

Tuesday night we were babysitting our 3 1/2 year old niece, Brianna, who has apparently never witnessed the whole breastfeeding process before. This was our conversation:

Brianna: "I want to hold the baby."

Tracy: "She's eating right now, sweetie!"

Brianna: looks with great curiosity and asks, "Is she eating you?"

Tracy: "Nope, she's drinking baby milk."

Brianna: "There's baby milk in your boob?"

Tracy: "Yep!"

Brianna studied the whole process very carefully and then went about her business.

Needless to say, I had a good laugh for evening and Brianna learned about the art of breastfeeding and saw way more of Aunt Tracy than she ever had before.

We've been enjoying the beautiful weather this week!

And when Avery disappears, chances are good that he's up to something he shouldn't be...
