Crazy hair and conversations

Little miss Ellie is already almost 13.5 months! She's acting so much older every day. It's fun and sad at the same time...but mostly fun. She can answer simple yes or no questions by shaking her head in response, so that makes life a lot easier. We can ask her if she wants something and she'll either shake her head yes or no. It's so cute! No more crawling at all, she's almost running around the house these days. She's still pretty clumsy, but improving. One funny thing that has happened recently is that her hair has developed a mind of it's own. She's always had the "chick fuzz" as I called it toward the back of her hair, but as it's grown, it has flattened out...until last weekend. Suddenly it has decided to stand up again. No matter how many times I wash it, comb it, etc, when it dries it stands up...pretty funny!! I snapped a few pictures of her with her crazy hair and also doing something she loves..."talking" on the phone. She loves to snatch the phone and pretend to talk on it...and since she is spoiled...she's usually allowed to. :) Sometimes just playing with it isn't enough, she squeals and holds it out at me until I actually call someone (usually grandma) for her to talk to. So much fun!!

The pictures are nothing spectacular, as I quick snapped them with the point and shoot, but they're cute anyway. :)

I don't care if you made me a new bow, I don't want to wear it!

What a little sweetheart - it crazy how much they can change from month to month, let alone a year! Beautiful pics of her! Jill
