Happy belated 9 months to my little sweetie who is growing WAY too quickly. You're actually almost 9 1/2 months now. This past month has not been the easiest for you. There have been many doctor visits, blood tests, and other procedures to try to figure out what exactly is plaguing our precious little pumpkin. You went from our constantly happy baby, to one who has been more crabby than not. This month, you took on a couple new nicknames, "Crabby Patty" and "Crabby Cupcake" (that one's from Isabella because of all of your cupcake themed outfits...mommy has a little obsession with that line from Gymboree). Despite whatever is bothering you, you still manage to capture our hearts and make us love you more and more everyday. It is insane how much I love you, actually. You decided this month, that, you no longer want to sleep, especially if it means sleeping alone. You've figured out how to weasel your way into bed with mommy and snuggle in close...and although we'd rather you learn how to sleep in your bed,
mommy secretly likes having you close. Separation anxiety has fully set in and I think that's part of the reason for the sudden sleep strike, that and the fact that the Allergist said you may possibly have some acid, from refluxing, in your ears, which explains why you grab your ears and scream, although the doctor says that
this time they aren't infected. You are QUITE the mama's girl and will carry on until I come to get you, even if daddy or grandma already have you. This month you have become more and more curious and have figured out how to make your way to whatever it is that you want to get into. Christmas presents, ornaments, grandma's blinds, and
other inappropriate things. Some who know us well will get a good chuckle out of that, although it makes mommy break out in a cold sweat. One of our favorite things you've recently discovered is your tongue. You've always got it hanging out, and have found it very instrumental when giving us your big, sweet, slobbery kisses. Happy 9 months sweet angel. We love you more everyday! We thank God for you constantly!
