Well, I figured since it's been a month since I updated...and some of my friends (ehem, STEPH) are subtly hinting that it's time to do it again. :)
One exciting thing in January was our little potty princess. We are so proud of our sweetie at being completely potty trained -day AND night- underwear ONLY by 22.5 months. So many people are impressed by this, which makes us so proud. It makes a mama proud to have sucessfully potty trained all 3 children! :) We are so incredibly proud of her. She is SUCH a sweetheart!

Another exciting happening in January is that our precious princess turned FIVE years old. We can hardly believe that our 5lb 60z preemie is now this beautiful little girl who is growing so much. I made a bad mommy decision and let them schedule her 5 year well check on her actual birthday, so our precious peanut had to get shots on her birthday. She took them in stride, being the sweetheart she is. She did tell me, "Mom, that didn't just hurt a little bit, it hurt a LOT." But, now she's done with her shots for a LOOOOOOONG time. For those who are into sizes and stats, she was 40 lbs (55th percentile) and 43 inches (60th percentile). She is such an incredible blessing and we are amazed everyday at how much older she seems. Sometimes when she tells us things, we just look at each other bewildered and say, "she is not a little girl anymore, she's a KID." Time goes so quickly. She will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall. When they say "don't blink." It's true, it really does fly by. We love you so much Bella Rose, you made my dream of being a mommy and having a little girl come true. We are so blessed.

One week later, on February 5th, we celebrated Avery's 4th birthday. It's hard to believe he is four, too. Those that know Avery just love him. He has the BEST personality and is just such a funny guy. He has this special way with people. It will be interesting to see what plans God has for his life. He is such a sweet and sincere little boy. His heart is as tender as they come. He touches our hearts the way that he wants to pray for people when he knows they are sick or hurt. He has also been known to walk around the house "talking to God", as he looks upward. You truly are a special gift to all of us, Avery. And those dimples of yours will get you everywhere else in life that your other attributes won't. We love you so incredibly much, little buddy. Avery hasn't had his well check yet, so stats will come later. :)

yeah for updating, I am so proud!!!
Your kids are adorable!!! I love when Avery called Addyson "Allison" and asked for some "ice water"!
I knew you'd be proud! :)
Thanks! I think your kids are pretty cute, too! Addy was so cute walking all around. I found that cookie dough brownie recipe on the blog, so I made them for a potluck today. That cookie dough layer was a pain in the butt to spread! Terry told me that last time you made a double batch of that part...that would have been easier!
This blog made me tear up. Boy, where has the time gone? I can't believe how fast they grow up. You do have such sweet little kids and you shculd be a proud mom!
